We are a commercial software company. We sell the Virtual Grand Prix 3 product. And we are fierce oppositors to any sort of DRM (Digital Rights Management) system.

DRM is a technique, used by many companies, that prevents users (ie, you) from having full control over their very own computer. The idea behind DRM is to permit users to only do on their computers what the "big companies" behind software or other content thinks it's legal to do, in an effort to prevent piracy by simply blocking the users' freedom.

DRM is becoming more and more intrusive in the users' life and freedom. Some modern operating systems are beginning to support these technologies as a "core service", thus letting "big companies" limit your freedom in a progressively insane way! As an example, you may find that you cannot make backup copies of purchased software, music or movies, or that simply upgrading your hardware can be recognized by the DRM systems as an attempt to illegally install the software on another computer!
