Interlagos, the Brazilian track, is now available from the Download section for VGP3!

Bumpy, twisty, with its hills, high and low speed corners Interlagos is a really challenging track.

To download Interlagos you need the latest version (V0.82) of the VGP3 engine.
If you have already installed VGP3 V0.82, just click the “Updates” button from within the simulator.

As always, you may also manually download the archive and install it following the included instructions.

The long-awaited Lobby Server for VGP3 is finally up and running!

In order to use it, you need to download the latest version of the VGP3 engine (V0.82), available from the Download section.

With the new Lobby Server you can now easily find other online users/servers: just select “Network Race” from the main menu and click “Server List” (or chat with other users).

To host an online race, just leave the “Use Lobby Server” option on and start your server - other people will see your host in the Server List and will easily join your online race!

An updated version of ObjectConverter is available from the Download section for VGP3!

The new version of the utility can now import obj files, features a better algorithm for normal generation (along with the possibility to load normals stored in the original file) and many improvements in the final object generation.

A new version of TrackDesigner3 is now available, too! The update features some minor fixes and a better management of objects.

To install the updated utilities, download the archives and follow the included instructions.

We are pleased to announce that the latest version of the VGP3 engine (V0.81) for Windows Operating Systems now supports D-BOX's motion technology!

D-BOX Motion Code™, a technology patented by D-BOX Technologies Inc. (www.d-box.com), uses motion codes specifically programmed for each film, TV program or video game, which are sent to a motion generating system integrated within either a platform or a seat. The resulting motion is perfectly synchronized with all onscreen action, creating an unmatched realistic immersive experience.

The latest version of the VGP3 engine, if used in combination with hardware supporting this new exciting technology, enables the (virtual) driver to really feel forces and vibrations of simulated racecars, blurring even more the line between virtual and real driving!

The Motion Code specifically programmed for VGP3 can be downloaded directly from the D-BOX Technologies Website, simply follow the corresponding link in the Mods/Addons section. The latest version of the VGP3 engine, as always, is available in the Download section.

A new version of the VGP3 engine, V0.80 (Alpha), is now available from the Download section!

There are many improvements in the new engine, including:

> possibility to install third-parties' series along with the original Open Wheeled one
> better integration with the VGP3 WebSite through download and installation of new contents directly from within the application
> improved shaders
> support for postprocessing effects (just few for now, but more will come)
> optimizations and minor upgrades in the whole code

We are also working on additional tracks we plan to release very soon and we're updating the VGP3 tools.

Pay attention to the fact that the new file formats are incompatible with the old ones, so you need to download both the new executable and the main archive - Don't mix old and new files!

Barcelona, the spanish track, is now available from the Download section for VGP3!

Barcelona is a challenging bumpy track, a mix of high and low-speed corners; because of this reason it's one of the tracks mostly used by Formula One teams to test new cars and components.

To install the track, download the archive and follow the included instructions.
